Picking up the pace on longer timed swims, with Chris

 

Warm up:

600 choice

(600/600)

 

Drill set:

1×200 swim, reducing stroke count on even lengths

1×300 (50 single arm drill/25 swim max DPS)

4×50 kick with 15 sec rest.  Descend 1-4

4×75 (25 kick/25 rhythm drill/25 swim)

(1000/1600)

 

Main set:

1×20 minute timed swim.  Get your yardage

4×75 (50 drill/25 swim)

1×10 minute timed swim

The goal is to go more than half the distance of the 20 minute swim.  However, you must do it with either the same gear configuration as before, or with LESS gear.
